The Universal Century (???? Uch? Seiki? , commonly abbreviated as UC) is one of the timelines of the Gundam anime metaseries, along with the first timeline to be created. The Universal Century begins after humans begin to populate space, after construction of the first space colony side at Side 1 was completed.
When Did Gundam Unicorn Take Place? The One Year War took place in UC 0079. That’s the year that the Universal Century timeline revolves around because it’s the war that starts it all. Gundam Unicorn takes place in UC 0096, 17 years after the One Year War begins. The series also shows events in UC 0001, when human space colonization began.
