Selecting “keep everyone together” allows riders of different abilities to stay together as long as they keep pedaling. So far, the Cowgills have turned this setting off, which motivates Ben to work harder to keep up! Zwifters log in before the Meetup is set to start and join the event when prompted.
There’s really no point Zwifting together if we don’t actually stay together and it’s very difficult for me to keep such a slow pace (I have heavy legs). If I’m not getting a workout while riding together we may as well ride outside, it’s more fun.

If keep everyone together is selected on a meetup, how does Zwift calculate speed of the group? Does it use the speed of the fastest rider, the slowest rider or an average of all the riders? I did Alpe d’ Zwift today and despite doing one of my highest ever watts, I did my slowest ever time.
